About Habits & Streaks.

A streak in HabitKit follows the Streak Goal you set for a build habit: every day, so many days a week, or so many a month. How streaks are counted covers the rules, including why a streak can read zero while the grid is full. There is no streak freeze, so days off are planned with a weekly or monthly goal instead (take a day off without breaking your streak).

Not every habit is yes or no. Count and Measure habits take a daily goal in your own unit, decimals included (daily goals, counts and amounts), and a habit you want to quit counts clean days or stays below a limit you set (track a habit you want to quit). For the thinking behind the numbers, read why a streak is not a consistency score.
